Christian McCaffrey’s 10 Fall Essentials

Right now you might be seeing a lot of Christian McCaffrey. Not only is he all over our site, but he is all of over the NFL as well! He’s taking the league by storm and leading all RBs in rushing while consistently ranked as one of the top fantasy players on a weekly basis. However, while you may see Christian on your TVs tearing up the turf on a Sunday, you can head to flagandanthem.com any day of the week, and check out his 10 essentials for fall.

First on his list of 10 is the Lowellville flannel shirt, a super-soft flannel with a broken-in look and feel. Christian says, “the vintage-inspired plaid in red and blue feels really classic.” The shirt is also looks great under the Jetson jacket which is the running back’s second essential item this fall and he likes to wear it over a tee or a button down shirt. You can even wear it over the number 3 McCaffrey’s list, the Lorentz thermal henley. Christian says he is “really into henleys right now,” and loves the waffle texture on the long sleeve shirt.

However, the star running back knows that sometimes you may need to look a little more refined, and we have those options as well. Like number 4, the Clayton shirt, which “works for away games or the rare night out” and pairs great with his fifth Flag & Anthem essential, the charcoal Castleton chino which is “perfect for a dressier occasion.”

Yet, when the temperature drops, you need to be prepared for that too which may be why number 6 on his list is the Nielsville puffer vest. Christian was quick to point out his favorite feature on this essential item for fall, “there is super-soft sherpa on the inside of this vest, enough said.” McCaffrey also explained, that if he needed a sweater on a cold day, the Henryville would be his choice and seventh item on his list. Not only does it keep him warm, but the red sweater allows him to “step outside of the (blue and grey) box.”

Rounding off the back side of his list at number 8, is the Spokane jean. As he puts it, “dark denim is my go-to and the added stretch is incredibly comfortable.” Also, CMC is quick to point out that even with all of this great gear, you do need a good pair of boots this fall “because you can’t always wear sneakers,” and he chose the Edgemont boot at number nine. Last but not least, you are going to need some way to carry all this gear which leads us to Christian’s tenth fall 10 essential, the Hudson cargo backpack. As McCaffrey puts it, “I’m on the road a lot, so it’s great to organize my stuff in all these pockets.”

As you can see, we have plenty of options at Flag & Anthem this fall. What are your ten fall essentials? Not sure yet, check out our 2019 Fall Collection, and make your own list!
